Yanush Onyshkevicz: "I am exited with mood of people who fight for their rights in Belarus" 21:15, 10/12/2004
Vice-speaker of European Parliament one of founders of legendary Polish “Solidarity”, Polish Minister of defense in the firs years of independence Yanush Onyshkevicz visited action that took place in Minsk on the 10th of December, in international Human rights day.
“When I learned that Human right action is taking place in Minsk today I decided that I will certainly come. I am exited with mood of people who fight for their rights in Belarus”, -- said Yanush Onyshkevicz to journalists. “I want to establish a fact that Human rights are violated everywhere. And the situation only worsened. What is happening after parliament elections and referendum is not giving optimism”.
Vice-speaker of European Parliament came to Minsk to prepare report about relations of European Union with neighbor countries including Belarus. Today Yanush Onyshkevicz met coordinator of European coalition, international coordinator of civil initiative Charter’97 ex vice-minister of foreign affairs of Belarus Andrey Sannikov.
