“Zubr” activist sentenced to three days of arrest for graffiti “Freedom to Marinich!” 13:19, 12/01/2005
Activist of Mahiliou “Zubr” department Maksim Dvaretsky sentenced to three days of arrest for graffiti “Freedom to Marinich!”. Dvaretsky was arrested in the night and accused of violating article 156 of Administrative code (Petty hooliganism).
At 11 a.m. Dvaretsky was taken to court and sentenced to three days of arrest by judge Tyblenko. The trial lasted only 3 minutes. Judge "believed" to policemen-witnesses who said that Dvaretsky had been using foul language and kicking up a row while writing “Freedom to Marinich” on the wall.
Judge Tyblenko refused to invite witnesses of defense to court. And she also refused to give him a lawyer
According to one of Zubr coordinators this is not the first time when judge Tyblenko violates right on defense and pronounces ungrounded and illegal sentences on activists of opposition.
