NEWS  Belarus Takes First Position On Non-Free Countries’ List 17:43, 01/04/2005, photo by ByMedia.net The American human rights organization Freedom House has presented a special report “The worst of the worst” The World’s Most Repressive Societies. 2005” at the 61st session of the UN Commission on human rights, the representative of the human rights organization Viasna Ales Bialatski informs from Geneva. Belarus is the first on the list of the countries that have attracted attention of the Freedom House. According to the evaluation of the Freedom House, the situation with human rights in Belarus has deteriorated as compared with the last year.
