NEWS  Georgia prepared to assist Belarus in promoting democracy - Saakashvili 13:15, 22/04/2005 Members of the GUUAM organization are prepared to assist Belarus in promoting democratic reforms, Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili said at the GUUAM summit in Chisinau on Friday. "We think the Belarussian people have the right to choose their future, freely express themselves and freely engage in political activities. We, members of the GUUAM organization, are ready to discuss this problem and pass an official agreement supporting democratic development in Belarus," Saakashvili said.
