NEWS  Belarusian Dictator Grateful to Russia For Colossal Support 11:22, 25/04/2005 Belarus is grateful to Russia for “colossal” support in the international arena. Alyaksandr Lukashenka told about it on April 22 in Moscow during the meeting with journalists following the results of the session of the Supreme State Council of the so-called Russia-Belarus Union, Novosti news agency informs. Summarizing the results of the session the heads of Belarus and Russia signed a Program of coordinated actions of the “union state” in the sphere of foreign policy. “I would like to thank Vladimir Putin and Mr. Lavrov (Russian Foreign Minister) for the colossal support you have always been giving us at a difficult time for us in our history as a sovereign nation. The whole world knows about it, and mass media are showing it,” told Lukashenka.
