NEWS  Ukraine in efforts to have its nationals freed from Belarus jail 10:59, 05/05/2005 Ukraine is going to appeal in the Belarusian Supreme Court the ruling of the Minsk city court by which it turned down the request to free from jail five Ukrainians who were detained during a rally in Minsk on April 26. “The Ukrainian side is disappointed by unwillingness of the Belarussian side to grant the appeal of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry regarding the release of the Ukrainians from custody, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry’s press service said on Wednesday.
