Foreign Minister of Ukraine Borys Tarasiuk thinks that it is not serious to comment Lukashenka’s statements. He told that at the press conference, refusing to comment on Lukashenka’s words that the latter allegedly did not know about the incident with the detained Ukrainian protesters on April 26 in Belarus.
Mr. Tarasiuk observed: “I cannot judge the president who does not know about the most resonant event occurring in his state. I simply find it not serious to comment that Lukashenka did not know about the five Ukrainian citizens”.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Borys Tarasiuk also plans to meet representatives of the All-Ukrainian youth civil association “National Alliance”, LIGA Biznes Inform reports.
Commenting the reports about possible repeated trips of representatives of the “National Alliance” to Belarus, B.Tarasiuk underlined that it is necessary to initiate a meeting with representatives of this organization: “I would like to meet them and talk to them to find out what is the goal of their protest. The protest action they had been taking part in is understandable to everyone. It is necessary to know the motivation in such cases,” explained B. Tarasiuk. “I’ll take it in hand”.
