NEWS  Head of OSCE office visits Union of Poles 13:11, 08/06/2005 Yesterday in Grodna the OSCE ambassador in Belarus Eberhard Haiken has visited the office of Union of Poles in Belarus. His meeting with the chairperson of UPB Anzhalika Borys lasted for approximately one hour and a half. Mr. Haiken announced to journalists that it was his personal initiative to pay this visit. The problems that UPB faces became known to him and he determined to visit the UPB office. Eberhard Haiken said his decision was stipulated by the conversation with Tadeusz Pawlak, Ambassador of Poland in Belarus.
