The web site of the Belarusian oppositional United Civil Party (www.ucpb.org) was cracked this night. Visitors now observe a white page with the words “illusion brazillian boys 2005”. This is not the first time when the site of the leading opposition party has been cracked, which is the evidence of the weak security system of the server of the site or neglect in the script of the oppositional resource itself.
There have been no comments from the UCP representatives so far. In Belarus, problems with oppositional sites occur mostly often before significant political events - election or referendum. Now the situation in Belarus is relatively quiet, so, this crack can hardly be ascribed to the Belarusian Special Forces. It may take from several hours to several days to restore the information from the backup.
