Lukashenka will not let authorities go abroad 11:30, 15/06/2005
Aliaxandar Lukashenka signed Decree # 274 “On ratification of the Resolution of the order of foreign official business trips”, the head of the Press Service of the President reported. The decree determines a range of the people empowered to decide on the candidatures to be sent to foreign business trips and also the people who may be sent to a foreign business trip with the consent of the Head of state only; the list of the documents that stipulate the decisions of foreign official business trips and terms of placing the given documents for consideration of an appropriate state institution, state organization, functionary; the duration of these business trips.
The Decree implies that the duration of a trip should not exceed 2 days, and a longer term may be determined in the resolution on the foreign official business trip proceeding from the official necessity and maximum reduction of the state expenditures.
The Decree also regulates several particular aspects that earlier were not considered, in particular, the order of foreign official business trips of employees of state institutions for education (training, seminar, conference and other cases of improvement of professional skill).
