NEWS  Leaders of Political Parties Underwent Body Search At Border 16:40, 28/06/2005 On Monday the chairman of the United Civil Party Anatol Lyabedzka, deputy chairpersons Ludmila Hryaznova and Yaraslau Ramanchuk, as well as the leader of the Belarusian Communist party Syarhei Kalyakin underwent a thorough personal search while crossing the border of Lithuania and Latvia, the internet-source pelpa.org informs. The car driven by the UCP leader was stopped and searched by the officers of the Belarusian customs. The searches of the representatives of the Belarusian democratic opposition have become usual. This time the search lasted for two hours. The report of the personal search has not been filed by customs officers.
