Attack on Institute of Modern Knowledge started with its subsidiaries :: Charter'97 :: News

Today the administration of the Grodna subsidiary of the Institute of Modern Knowledge has received a telephone variant of the order to shut down this educational establishment. A written variant of the resolution of the Ministry of Education is expected to be sent by post in the nearest future, GrodnaNews reports.

According to the professors of the subsidiary, who were interviewed, the problem is first of all comprised within the fact that the Institute of Modern Knowledge is a private establishment. And it is shut down at the same scheme used regarding the Y. Kolas Belarusian Humanitarian Lyceum and the European Humanitarian University.

The first conclusion to arise regarding the ground for the shutting threats is the insufficient level of knowledge among the students. But, as the administration of the institute assures, every year the schooling level of the graduating students is examined in the state higher educational establishments. And all these years the graduates have been passing the state examination commissions with excellent certificates.
