Belarus loses from 30 to 40 per cent of textile supplies to the countries, where cheap Chinese products are sold, prime minister of this republic Sergei Sidorskiy has told reporters today.
According to him, this republic has faced acting dumping of the Chinese flax fiber, which cost reduced by 36 per cent on the world market. In this connection the government of Belarus has to take corresponding measures to make goods of the Belarusian companies competitive. According to Sergei Sidorskiy, the cost volume of textile supplies from Belarus abroad reduced by 28 per cent. At the same time “we re-reoriented several companies towards other markets for this purpose”.
When speaking about the necessity to modernize the biggest Belarusian companies processing oil and gas the prime minister noted that the forced break of their work for a month will certainly influence the output on the whole. “However the government has taken several measures to improve the situation. This is why we do not see big problems with the production volumes”, Sergei Sidorskiy underlined.
