One can congratulate residents of the capital [of Belarus]. The cost of an average single-room apartment reached USD 31,000. And the average salary reached guaranteed USD 250 per month. One can easily see that the second figure is outdazzled by the first one. The present costs for apartments are unparalleled in history of Belarus. The average cost for a square meter is higher than USD 800. For comparison, two and a half years ago the cost was about 300. After a prise rise in the beginning of this year it seemed that it is impossible for the prices to grow further. However, it was a temporary and short pause of the wind;. Recent months were a surprise again: about USD 31,500 for a single –room apartment, USD 43,000 for a two-room apartment, 58,000 for a three-room apartment.
