Policemen Broke Into Andzelika Borys Apartment 15:48, 29/08/2005
After 1 p.m. a policeman appeared by the apartment of the leader of the Union of Poles in Belarus, Andzelika Borys. She was not at home, and only her sister was there. Policemen demanded to open the doors, threatening by bursting into it themselves.
As radio Svaboda informs, sister had to let them in. Two criminal investigators told that they came relating investigation of the case initiated by the representative of the Polish committee “Solidarity with Belarus” Mikhal Dworczak. Unknown attacked him not far from the house of A.Borys, and seized his rucksack.
While policemen were in the apartment of A.Borys, she returned home. Polish journalists arrived as well. As said the UPB activist Andrzej Pisalnik to the Charter’97 press center, policemen asked provocative questions to A.Borys. For instance, they asked her who from her acquaintances could have commited an assault on Mikhal Dworczak.
