NEWS  Democratic Forces’ Congress to be Held in MAZ House of Culture 15:34, 13/09/2005 Minsk authorities certified the chairman of the Democratic Forces Congress’ Steering Committee Alyaksandr Bukhvostau of support to the oppositional forum. The head of the ideologu department of Minsk executive committee recommended the house of culture of the Minsk automobile plant (MAZ) for the congress. As said by Bukhvostau, who has visited the building today, there is an assembly hall with 1000 seats, and other rooms necessary for the congress. “There are all necessary conditions for organizing a forum in a way we would like to see it,” Bukhvostau said. He also added that he is satisfied with the suggested place and the rent agreement would be signed this week, referring to preliminary agreement of the director of the building Alyaksandr Lonski.
