NEWS  Alexander Lukashenko: trade unions do not stand against Belarus’ authority 11:39, 21/09/2005 Trade unions have never been against the authority, government and the president of Belarus, head of state Alexander Lukashenko stated today at the 5th conference of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus /FTUB/. The president considers the FTUB conference as an important event not only in the work of the body but also in the country’s development.
