NEWS  Belarusian Embassy in Lithuania Concerned by NATO Seminar 16:03, 23/09/2005 A seminar on Belarus held in Lithuania would not contribute to improvement of relations with the EU and NATO, states the press release of the Belarusian Embassy in Lithuania, received by RIA Novosti. The official representatives of Belarus have not been invited to the NATO seminar organized by the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. The Belarusian Embassy in Lithuania “with anxiety views the fact that such closed-door meetings become the basis for plans and scenarios of “democratization” of Belarus from abroad, and are used for justifying sanctions and restrictions aimed against the Belarusian people”.
