“Expert”: in crisis situation Ukraine can support Lukashenka’s opponents 17:02, 27/09/2005
Observers give critical opinion about prospective of political dialogue between Belarusian and Ukrainian governments. In spite of meeting of presidents of this states and agreements between ministers of foreign affairs of Belarus and Ukraine concerning visit of Ukrainian prime-minister to Belarus Minsk and Kiev demonstrate opposite vision of political and economic strategy, observers say.
According to Deutsche Welle Minister of foreign affairs of Ukraine Boris Tarasiuk offered to assist in relations between European Union and official Minsk.
But, according to director of Institute of peace, conversion and external policy Aleksandr Sushko attitude of Minsk to Ukraine is even more careful than to European states. Lukashenka looks at Ukraine as at country that can support his opponents in crisis situation, -- said expert.
