The head of the sociological service “Ukrainian Barometer”, political analyst Viktor Nebozhenko believes that in the course of the visit of Ukrainian Prime Minister Yuriy Yekhanurov to Belarus problems of foreign economic activity. Nebozhenko told about that in his interview to “Glavred” agency on Monday.
“Foreign economic activities are to be discussed. All other things related to Belarus – geopolitics, democracy promotion, internal situation in the country, relations of Belarus, Russia and Ukraine in the framework of the Single Economic Space (SES) – all these problems are rather complicated and unlikely to become an object of talks between our Prime Minister and Belarusian officials. Maybe, it would be even simpler, and energy resources are to be discussed,” Nebozhenko said.
The political analyst also noted that “Lukashenka and Yekhanurov are unlikely to discuss the questions that are very sensitive and extremely important”.
As we have informed, on October 18 Prime Minister Yekhanurov is to visit Belarus. Meetings with Belarusian President Alyaksandr Lukashenka and Prime Minister Syarhei Sidorski are planned during the visit.
