NEWS  Situation in Belarus has worsened since referendum 11:45, 20/10/2005 On October 17, 2004 Alexander Lukashenko organized a national referendum. In result of this referendum, presidency limit of no more that two terms for one person has been erased from the Constitution. According to Anatolij Lebedko, there were two main political tendencies over post-referendum year. First, administration activities became more force-oriented, legislation and legal practice have become stricter.
