Policemen have not found elements of vandalism in the memorial area in Kurapaty, except for the “fall of the upper part of Clinton’s bench”. The Interfax was informed about that in the police department of Minsk region. The policemen believe that the fall of the bench could have happened without participation of people. It could have fallen in connection with the sudden change of weather,” the policemen said.
As said by the policemen, they are investigation who and for what reasons damaged the memorial sign “From American people to people of Belarus”, installed in Kurapaty. Representatives of the police department of Minsk region informed that “in case view of place of occurrence would show deliberate actions, initiation of a criminal action would be considered”.
