Andrzej Pisalnik Not Allowed to Travel Abroad

The editor-in-chief of the newspaper “Glos znad Niemna” issued in emigration, is prohibited to go abroad. Today Andrzej Pisalnik was detained by the town of Skidzel and taken to Hrodna to a police department of Lenin district. His permit for going abroad was cancelled.

He was explained that it has been done because he is a suspect in the criminal case referring intimidation of the director of Shchuchyn Polish House Viktor Bogdan. Earlier three other members of the Union of Poles in Belarus, which is not recognized by the state, were prohibited to leave the country, the Radio Svaboda informs.
