On December 16, on the Day of Belarusian Solidarity, an internet-site of the internet-community the Third Way (www.3dway.org ) lit a candle in a virtual window of its readers. On this day, from 7.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. candles of solidarity were lit again at many popular Belarusian sites. “Solidarity of By-Net” (Belarusian Internet) has been supported by the following internet-sources “Belarusian Partisan” (http://www.belaruspartizan.org),the civil initiative “Chas!” (http://www.svaboda2006.org), the Agency of Financial News (www.afn.by), the site of the internet-movement of U. Matskevich (), the internet-source of the Belarusian Popular Front (www.pbnf.org), an informational portal “electronic Barysau” (http://www.borisov-e.info), sites www.pavel-ambiont.com, www.dobraja.com, www.gorki-meo.org , and a well-known cartoon project “Multkulb” (www.multclub.org), a youth project “Limon” (www.limony.org ), an internet-project “Belarusian Toad” (www.belzhaba.com), as well as all other internet-projects of the internet-community the Third Way (www.3dway.org).
It is possible that many other Belarusian sites have taken part in the action, but the exact number is unknown. The action “Solidarity of Bynet” is a regular one, and its organizers are sure that it would grow wider.
