NEWS  Russia asks Belarus to confirm acceptability of new ambassador 11:07, 27/01/2006 Russia has asked Belarus for confirm the acceptability of its new ambassador Alexander Surikov, a Belarussian Foreign Ministry source told Interfax on Thursday. "Surikov has received approval of the Russian parliament. The request was made to Belarus yesterday," he said.
