Trial date fixed for Zmitser Kaspiarovich 13:30, 20/02/2006
Investigation on the criminal case of Malady Front (Young Front) activist Zmitser Kaspiarovich is ceased. The activist is accused of an attempt to hang out a white-red-white flag on the building of Minsk City Executive Committee on article 339 of Criminal Code. The trial is to start February 27, at 10 a.m. in the Moskovskiy District Court.
According to Zmitser’s mother Tatsiana Kaspiarovich, the trial can probably last only one day. As remedial activists deem such sentences are likely to be passed as the three-year conventional imprisonment or a fine calculated regarding 42 days of detention spent by Zmitser Kaspiarovich in an investigation isolation ward.
