Amnesty International to Reach Belarusian Border

On March 6 in Amsterdam a protest against violations of human rights in Belarus will be staged. The action would be organized by the international human rights organization “Amnesty International”. Its participants plan to hitch-hike via the Netherlands, Germany and Poland up to the Belarusian border.

As the Radio Svaboda informs, on the way participants are going to organize street actions in Amsterdam, Berlin and Warsaw, in order to attract attention of the Europeans to Belarusian problems.

On March 16, on the Day of Belarusian Solidarity, participants of the action are going to symbolically “knock on the door of Belarus”, with the intention of supporting the demand of carrying out free and fair elections.
