After visiting voting stations, Belarusian people share their impressions of what they have seen with us. For instance, one of voters discovered the name of his father missing for many years in the list of voters. Here you can read a passage from the letter sent to “Bielorusskiy partizan”:
“Today, after getting up in the morning I decided to do my voting duty and went to vote for the free country. I was shocked, however, by the election commission. My father missing for 10 years is still included in the list of voters. I tried to figure out whether the commission had learnt something new about my father, but a woman called a policeman who recommended me to go home.
People, I beg you - check if the lists of voters contain “dead soles”: old ladies who died many years ago but still support the power with their votes, or those who moved to another place and so on. My fellow citizens, be aware. This is our future.”
