People are marching along Skaryna (Independency) Avenue to October Square. They are holding national flags, flags with the icon of Our Lady of Minsk, flags of the youth resistance movement Zubr. People are chanting in unison: “Long live Belarus!”, “We want Freedom!” Part of the protesters are still standing on Lenin Street. They cannot join the column as the passage is cordoned off by policemen and riot policemen.
