An accusation was brought up against the ex-candidate for presidency Alyaksandr Kazulin. He is charges with hooliganism and organizing group actions and violation of public order. He is facing up to 6 years of imprisonment according to the law. Alyaksandr Kazulin does not plead guilty and charges the authorities with “provocation”. He believes it’s a politically motivated case. The Radio Svabdoa was informed about that by Kazulin’s lawyer Ihar Rynkevich, who met his client today in Zhodzina remand prison.
As we have informed, Kazulin was detained during the peaceful protest’s disbanding on March 25. the demonstration was brutally dispersed by riot policemen and SWAT. Special means were used during the sweep operation.
