Dictators to Meet at Summit of Non-Aligned Movement In Havana 18:38, 21/04/2006
Belarus sets a high value on its participation in the Non-Alignment Movement (NAM), told Belarusian Prime Minister Syarhei Sidorski (Sergei Sidorski) said answering to the questions of reporters. “Our president undoubtedly will take part in the summit of the Non-Alignment Movement in Havana in September this year. He is invited,” S. Sidorski said.
As said by the Prime Minister, the Belarusian side is preparing a number of initiatives for this summit, which “we hope would give a fresh impetus to the NAM”.
Belarusian Prime Minister also emphasized that Belarus plans to develop economic ties with Cuba. “Last year we started to work in the sphere of automotive vehicles delivery, dumpers, potassium, phosphorous and complex fertilizers,” S.Sidorski said.
The Belarusian official said he expects to sign a number of agreements on cooperation in different branches of economy.
