NEWS  Prosecutor Asks to Sentence Artur Finkevich to 2.5 Years of Corrective Work 13:13, 10/05/2006, photo by ByMedia.net The prosecutor has demanded to sentence the youth leader Artur Finkevich to 2.5 years of restriction of liberty (so-called corrective works). Today charg against Finkevich for violation of the Article 218 Part 3 of the Criminal Code (intentional destruction or damage of property) was dropped, however, he is still charged with violation of the Article 339 Part 2 (malicious hooliganism). Finkevich was freed from the charge of intentional damage of property as he admitted guilt and agreed to compensate damages. The total sum is 2 million 207 thousand BYR, considering that the sum for moral damages was reduced to 460 thousand BYR.
