Belarusian Police Looks for Foreigners among Oppositionists 13:12, 01/08/2006 In the beginning of the meeting Minsk guests shared their impressions on forced visit to a police department of Mahilyou region. They told that their micro bus was stopped by police a few kilometres before Mahilyou. They were placed to another car and taken to a police department. They were questioned about their plans. Minsk guests were released only after they assured policemen that they hadn’t been planning to take part in any rallies in Mahilyou, and that there were no foreigners among them. By the way, policemen asked political activists about foreigners for the second time.
