NEWS  New Witnesses for Prosecution at Partnerstva Trial 12:07, 02/08/2006 A trial over activists of the civil initiative Partnerstva continues in the court of Tsentralny district of Minsk. Today defence witnesses were to be examined; however, as the Charter’97 has found out, two new witnesses for the prosecution had been summoned to the court unexpectedly. The names of the new witnesses are unknown. These people are not former members of the civil initiative Partnerstva, family members and colleagues of the defendants do not know them. Right after giving evidence one of the witnesses left the court hastily, not wanting to talk to journalists.  TODAY  Urgent!
