“Big Jeans Festival” is Coming (Photo) 13:28, 04/09/2006
More than 100 young activists have taken part in a flash-mob held in Minsk on September 3. At 4 p.m. young activists gathered near the central entrance in Gorky Park. Public in the park was surprised to see young people simultaneously putting on T-shirts with the words “Big Jeans Festival”. After that activists flocked in small groups and continued to walk in the park, attracting attention of citizens to the upcoming event.
As we have informed, the application for holding “Big Jeans Festival” on September 16, 2006 in Minsk had been submitted to Minsk city executive committee on August 25. It is planned that the event would start on 2.30 p.m. by a march from the cinema “Kastrychnik” to Bangalore square, where the festival is to continue as a big meeting and concert at 4 pm.
