An architecturally-park complex “Good Angel of the world”, which is to be opened on September 9 in the ancient city of Novozybkov (Bryansk oblast, Russia), is to perpetuate names of 2,500 of philanthropists and organizations engaged in charity. “It is the first complex in Russia and first in the history of civilization, where names of good-hearted persons of different epochs and nations would be immortalized,” told the president of the international charity “Philanthropists of the century” Oleg Olejnik.
As said by him, among those people are heads of 9 states, more than 30 ambassadors, leaders of more than 50 cities, about 30 provinces; politicians, businessmen, public activists and culture personalities. All contemporaries are laureate of the foundations’ awards.
Among the 60 names of patrons of the past are Sheremetev, Tretyakov, the Mamontovs, the Morozovs. The philanthropists of today are Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Alexius II, head of the Council of Muftis of Russia Ravil Gainutdin, the Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, presidents of Armenia, Belarus, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, leaders of North Korea, Serbia, Cote d’Ivoire.
The decision to include each persona to the “charity memorial” wad been taken collectively. The Russian state historical archive has carried out great preparatory work.
The author of the project is Petr Stronsky, an Honoured artist of Russia.
Same complexes are being built in Moscow and other cities.
The solemn opening of the complex “Good angel of the world” in Moscow, in Gaivorona, Izhevsk, Proletarsk, Lensk, Krasnoiarsk, Abakan, Frolovo, is scheduled for November 4, National Unity Day. On October 5 the first stone would be laid in the complex in North Korea.
