On September 8 Belarus celebrates the Day of Belarusian Military Glory. On that day almost 500 years ago, in 1514, less than 30,000 troops of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and Kingdom of Poland under the command of Hetman Kanstantsin Astrozhski, defeated the Muscovite forces (more than 80,000 troops of Moscow principality).

On September 7 a commission on affairs of underage delinquents punished parents of an activist of the Young Front Zmitser Efimovich with a fine of 3 basic units (93,000 BYR) for “malicious evasion of educating their child”. The commission presented stickers and evidence of another young guy as confirmation of that. During detention Zmitser refused to explain anything.

Presidential aide, Lukashenka’s plenipotentiary representative in the “national assembly” Dzmity Bulakhau (Bulakhov) has suddenly died in Minsk last night in his apartment. At the moment medical examiners are trying to find out the reasons of the death, “Interfax” was told by law-enforcing agencies.
