Borodin: Referendum on Union State Could be Held in December 18:46, 21/09/2006
At the session of the Supreme state council of the “union state” which is scheduled for the end of October – beginning of November, important political decisions could be passed, told a state secretary of the so-called “union state” Pavel Borodin today at a press conference in Moscow.
He noted that issues of the structure of power of the “union state”, delegation of tasks to the one union center, and terms of electing the union parliament are to be considered at the session.
Pavel Borodin didn’t excluded that in December this year a referendum on the constitutional act of the “union state” could be held.
Pavel Borodin underlined that the union construction is carried out primarily to the benefit of the two countries’ nations.
