NEWS  Branches of Russian Companies to be Checked in Belarus 18:17, 26/09/2006 Within a month Belarusian government plans to check activities of all firms representing Russian companies at the Belarusian market, Belarusian Prime Minister Syarhei Sidorski said to journalists on Tuesday. “We are to check all within a month,” Sidorski told at the briefing after the session of the Council of Ministers of Russia and Belarus. He explained that often intermediaries sent up prices for goods of Russian manufacturers. As said by Sidorski, such firms “guaranteed that they were representing Russian manufacturers, but it turned out that they are usual intermediaries”. “There are many examples of that.
