Striking Protestants need mattresses and water 17:52, 12/10/2006
Today in Minsk 212 people - the believers of the church “New Life” - are holding a hunger strike. The fast-strike, as the Protestants call it, was launched on October 6. There are always more than 100 people in the building. Believers from Zhodzina, Mazyr, Stouptsy, Dziarzhynsk, Brest supported the Protestants of Minsk. The strikers said the only thing they needed was mattresses and water.
The water is necessary to stay strong. The strikers lack mattresses since the people are so exhausted that they have to spend days lying.
We address everyone who cares about the people who fight for the law and human rights in our country asking to help the hunger strikers.
