A democratic activist Alesya Yasiuk, beaten up by a police major, filed a complaint to the prosecutor’s office. She demands to bring up a criminal action against the policeman.
The administrative case against the human rights activist Aleh Vouchak has been dismissed because of expiry of period of limitation. This decision has been passed by Judge of Kastrychnitski district of Minsk Syarhei Herasimovich on December 7. The action against A. Vouchak had been brought up under Article No. 193-5 of the Administrative Code (violation of the order of economic policy measures and other restrictions while transporting goods through a border). The human rights activist faced a fine of 50 to 300 basic units.
