On December 16 Belarusian expat community in Moscow joined the solidarity with victims of political repressions in Belarus. Traditionally white and red flowers were laid to Yanka Kupala monument. Yanka Kupala died in Moscow under mysterious circumstances. “Flowers to Yanka Kupala are flowers to all those who sacrificed themselves for the sake of the Belarusian nation’s freedom,” the participants said.
On December 16 actions of solidarity with families of abducted Belarusian politicians and with political prisoners were held in 8 Polish cities: Warsaw, Krakow, Poznan, Sopot, Lodz, Pultusk, Lublin, Bialystok and Wroclaw.

On December 16 in the evening at the post office of Minsk central railway station an action of solidarity with political prisoner sin Belarus was held. Activists of the “Young Front” and members of other youth movements and organizations congratulated people who stay in prison for their political views.
