NEWS  Criminal Action Brought Up Against UCP Member 18:18, 05/01/2007 A criminal action has been brought up against Alyaksandr Bulaukin for alleged “forging transcripts of minutes of the meeting of the United Civil Party No.2 of November 26, 2006”. The transcript of minutes was given by Bulaukin to the district election commission with the aim to register him as a candidate for deputy of Kruglyanski district soviet. Under Article 192 of the Criminal Code of Belarus a criminal case was opened. The chief investigator of the urban-type settlement Kruglae A. V. Chystsyakou signed the decree. Bulaukin believes that it was a provocation and an excuse for banning him from the election campaign.
