NEWS  Action of Solidarity with Belarusians Planned on January 16 in Washington 15:43, 09/01/2007 An action of solidarity with families of abducted repressed Belarusians, with political prisoners and all who fight for freedom and democracy in Belarus is to take place in Washington on January 16. A civil imitative “Poglyad” is the initiator of the event. All people who care about the fate of Belarus are invited to join in the protest. During the rally “Poglyad” is to collect suggestions for organizing other events in support of Belarus in Washington and other cities of the US. Proposals and ideas are also welcomed at: poglyadinfo@gmail.com, topic “Solidarity Suggestions”. The rally is to take place in front of Belarusian Embassy. The first part is to last from noon to 2 p.m., and the second from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Embassy address: 1619 New Hampshire Ave NW, Washington, DC 20009.
