The reasons for arrest are not disclosed yet.
The activist of the United Civil Party Andrei Dzmitryeu has been seized by unknown people in mufti today in the center of Minsk. They packed him into a military bus “UAZ” and took him in unknown direction. The Charter’97 press-center has been reported about that by a civil society activist Natallya Rabava, who was near Andrei at the moment of seizure.
As said by Natallya Rabava, Dzmitryeu was arrested in Zakharau street by two athletic men in mufti. They had close-cropped hair. Dzmitryeu tried to fight, but his arms were twisted back, and mouth gagged. Two more men ran out of the dark green car UAZ 8912 BT7. They pushed Dzmitryeu into the car and took him in an unknown direction.
