NEWS  Film "Ploshcha" to be presented on Solidarity Day in Warsaw 16:54, 16/01/2007 On January 16 a presentation of the film "Ploscha" ("Square") by the well-known Belarusian filmmaker Yury Khaschavatski is to be held in Warsaw. The film shows the events of March-2006 in Minsk. The film presentation is to take place in the framework of the Day of Solidarity with Belarus marked on 16th day of every month and is widely supported in Poland. Rallies of solidarity with families of disappeared Belarusian oppositionists, Belarusian political prisoners, with all who fight for freedom and democracy, are to be held in many Polish cities. The presentation is to start at 7 p.m. in the famous Warsaw club Remont. The organizer of the action is the "Union for democracy support in Belarus".
