170 people took part in the flash-mob in support of political prisoners which was held in Minsk on January 19 in Minsk. The action took place at 8.30 p.m. near the “Aurora” cinema. The people with burning candles marched along Prititsky street and then stood up in a chain. Several young people were detained before the action started in the vicinity of the “Frunzenskaya” metro station. They had been held in the OMON bus for an hour and then released. Nobody was arrested after the action.

The action devoted to the birth anniversary of the Belarusian struggler for freedom Kastus Kalinousky was taken on January 21 by the activists of the “For freedom!” civil campaign.

30 people stood in a chain at the crossing of Vaneeva street and Rakasousky avenue. They were holding the letters composing one of the most important Kalinousky quotations” People are not for the government but the government is for people!” The action was held for 15 minutes. Nobody was arrested after the action.

Several posters with the slogan “Freedom!” appeared in the city at the last week-end .One of them was installed at the bridge across the Nyamiga street, the other one at the underground passage near the” Belarus” department store. The posters had been hanging for several hours.
