Ministry of justice is not in a hurry with registering the Union of Left Parties :: Charter'97 :: News

Ministry of justice of Belarus asked for additional documents with regard to the foundation conference of the Union of left parties which was held in Chernigov on December 17. A corresponding letter signed by head of the department of public associations and political parties of the ministry of justice Aleg Slizheusky was received at the office of the Party of Communists Belarusian. This message was conveyed to the BelaPan by spokesman of the Party of Communists Belarusian Syargei Vaznyak.

According to him, the ministry of justice asked for the registration protocols of the conference delegates, protocols of the governing bodies of the parties comprising the Union of Left Parties, protocols on the resolutions made on the Union foundation and protocol of the organizing committee of the Union and “ other technical documents’.

“It does not make any problem to us .We had been thoroughly preparing for the conference, the documents for the ministry of justice were also thoroughly prepared and the additional documents requested by the ministry of justice we shall submit with pleasure ,” declared Syargei Vaznyak.

According to him, there is a month at the ministry’s disposal for either registering the Union of Left Parties or refusing its registering.

The Party of Communists Belarusian, Belarusian Socio- Democratic Party (Gramada) and “Nadzeya” Belarusian Party of women joint the Union of Left Parties.
