NEWS  Young People of Barysau For Jeans (Photo) 14:56, 29/01/2007 It is forbidden to wear jeans in Barysau grammar school No.1. Administration explains that by the fact that jeans do not belong to an official style. Pupils believe it’s a violation of their rights. On January 26 school children decided to express a protest to the ban for wearing jeans. Most pupils came to school with jeans on. As a sign of solidarity their friends from other educational institutions joined them in their protest. They raised a jeans shirt as a flag in front of the grammar school. Pupils were supported by activists of the campaign “For Freedom”. They gave CDs with a film “Ploscha” as a present to the students. The administration of the grammar school tried to stop the protest, demanding pupils to disband.
