Search in the Apartment of Belarusian Popular Front HQ’s Secretary 16:46, 01/02/2007 First three persons entered the apartment. They presented themselves as policemen. Then five more persons in mufti came in. They said that they need to search the apartment. As a result they seized office equipment, data carriers and some books and some booklets. Andrei Sarotnik and Uladzimir Kishkurna were taken to the police department of Tsentralny district of Minsk, and kept there until 3 a.m. The activists of the4 party hadn’t been explained the reasons for detention. The leader of the Belarusian Popular Front party Vyachorka told to Radio Svaboda that he views these facts as a pressure on his party members.
